Definition

Dubai Now is the official unified smart services application of the Government of Dubai, developed and managed by Digital Dubai (formerly Smart Dubai). The app provides a single mobile interface through which residents, citizens, and visitors can access over 130 government and utility services spanning areas such as visa processing, bill payments, traffic fines, health records, education, and transport. Dubai Now consolidates services from multiple government departments into one streamlined experience.

UAE Context

Dubai Now is a flagship product of Dubai’s smart city transformation, reflecting the emirate’s ambition to deliver all government services through digital channels. The app integrates services from entities including the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), Dubai Health Authority, Dubai Police, and the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA). Users can pay utility bills, renew vehicle registrations, check visa status, and access medical records without visiting physical service centres.
